Share your testimony

I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. (Psalms 40:10)

Do you have a testimony that needs to be told? A story of salvation, healing, or restoration? A testimony of how God held you through a treacherous storm, and refused to let you go?

Forgiven to Forgive….these words have resonated in my heart daily since I heard the teaching from Pastor Sheyna. I never realized how much past relationships have hurt me. I have carried all the burden and weight all these years and have numbed myself to the pain by living over the hurt. But today the LORD unmasked the deep tissue scars and I started to deal with the pain. Today, I reconciled with a childhood friend who I hadn’t spoke to for several years. I didn’t even realize how much this broken relationship impacted me, but today I just experienced an incredible sense of healing and restoration simply by having her back in my life. I never realized how much I missed our friendship and how much I loved her as friend and how much I missed our fellowship. Today, I have a deeper understanding of God’s love for me. I’ll never know what it really means to love the way Christ loves me, but at least I have a deep level of love that I have not grasp before. Thank you Rohi Church for preaching and teaching the truth! Thank you Pastor Sheyna for trusting and abiding in the LORD.

After hearing today’s sermon about Satan’s strategy to make us hopeless through methods of deceit, strongholds, and wrong doctrines, and her caution against horoscopes–I just wanted to share that I was delivered from reading horoscopes. Years ago I got hooked on them when I was in a bad relationship and trying to “figure out the future” and what was going to happen to the relationship. I would spend hours a day looking up our signs and accessing different sources for them. All I ended up with was wasted time, not only from reading them, but also from excessive reasoning and trying to figure out how things would work out. The Holy Spirit finally allowed me to see a ream of wasted computer paper from printing out so many of them –no joke, and He said, “You’ve wasted enough time and paper on this. Just trust Me.” Now luckily I didn’t have to gouge out my eye or cut off my hand in order to stop reading them. (Refer Mat. 5:29-30) But I did have to make a very conscious and purposeful decision not to go to that page in the newspaper or be tempted to access them online. And it’s something I still have to guard against — even when other people ask me, “What does my horoscope say for today?” I have to decline to look at them for the person. It gives me a chance to explain why I no longer read them, and encourage them to trust God instead. They are a terrible trap, and I can’t read them “just for fun”. Gal. 5:1 says, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Praise the Lord for His precious truth!
